Connecting a Laptop
If your computer has USB C outputs, please connect via the USB C cable to access displays, speakers cameras, and microphones.
If your camera does not have USB C outputs, please connect via the HDMI cable to access displays and speakers; and the USB A cable to access cameras and microphones.
Zoom
Sign in to classroom computer
Launch Zoom from the desktop
Click “SSO” in the bottom left.
Sign in with UCINetID and Password
Click “Push” and accept the Duo prompt, or enter your Duo key.
Start or Join meeting
Adjust Cameras as needed, using remote controls in left drawer in podium.
Showing content from another device (e.g. laptop)
After starting Zoom on classroom computer:
Join the same meeting from your other device
Do not connect audio (microphone or speakers)
Use the “Share Screen” button in bottom center.
Document Camera
With Zoom
Switch Document Camera on, with power switch near bottom.
In Zoom, Click “Share Screen”
Click the “Advanced Tab”
Select “Content from Second Camera”
Notes
When done using the document camera, turn off via the power switch near the bottom of the camera.
Room Lights may reduce document visibility. Reducing room lighting may help increase document visibility.
Microphone
For gooseneck microphone:
Push button on base of gooseneck. Green light = ON.
For lapel clip:
Locate SHURE microphone in the bottom right cabinet.
Switch microphone “on” from the body pack, and wear the lapel clip.
When done, switch microphone off, and return device to charging dock.
