Zoom

  1. Sign in to classroom computer

  2. Launch Zoom from the desktop

  3. Click “SSO” in the bottom left.

  4. Sign in with UCINetID and Password

  5. Click “Push” and accept the Duo prompt, or enter your Duo key.

  6. Start or Join meeting

  7. Adjust Logitech Camera as needed 

    1. Tripod can telescope to be taller, if needed

    2. Camera has a microphone and should be pointed toward the instructor.


Showing content from another device (e.g. laptop)

After starting Zoom on classroom computer: 

  1. Join the same meeting from your other device

  2. Do not connect audio (microphone or speakers)

  3. Use the “Share Screen” button in the bottom center.


Document Camera

With Zoom

  1. Switch Document Camera on, with power button on left. It will turn blue.

  2. Press Input Button until “USB” is selected

  3. In Zoom, Click “Share Screen”

  4. Click the “Advanced Tab” 

  5. Select “Content from Second Camera”


Notes

  • When done using the document camera, turn off via the power switch near the bottom of the camera.

  • Room Lights may reduce document visibility. Reducing room lighting may help increase document visibility.


Microphone

  1. For gooseneck microphone:

    1. Retrieve a new sanitary microphone cover from the bottom right drawer.

    2. Place the cover over the end of the gooseneck microphone.

    3. push button on base of gooseneck. Green light = ON.

    4. When finished, dispose of the sanitary cover.

  2. For lapel clip: 

    1. Retrieve a new sanitary microphone cover from the bottom right drawer.

    2. Retrieve the SHURE microphone from the zippered bag in the  bottom right drawer.

    3. Place the cover over the end of the microphone.

    4. Switch the microphone “On” from the body pack, and wear the lapel clip.

    5. When done, dispose of the sanitary cover, switch the microphone Off, and return the body pack and clip to SHURE zippered bag and drawer.
