Windows 11:


  1. Connect computer to Ethernet, or log in to VPN.
    1. To connect to VPN before login, Click the lock icon toward the bottom right of the login screen.
    2. Enter "vpn2.uci.edu" and click Connect
    3. You will see a warning which says "The requested authentication type is not supported during Start before Logon." This warning can be disregarded, click OK.
    4. Change the Group to UCI-classic.
    5. Enter your UCInetID in the first field, your password in the second field, and type the word "push" in the third field, without the quotation marks.
      1. If you use a hardware Duo token, enter your Duo token in the third field.
    6. Click OK
    7. Respond to the Duo prompt on your mobile device
    8. Click "Accept"
    9. Log in with your Active Directory or Microsoft 365 username and password.
