Confirm your macOS device is enrolled in ZotDefend:
- Open System Preferences
- Under General, Scroll down and click "Device Management"
- If you don't see "General" or if you don't see "Device Management," search for the word "Profiles" and click on the result.
- You should see a banner that says "This Mac is Supervised and managed by: University of California Irvine" and a list of up to 15 specific items which will include words such as "ZotDefend" or "Jamf" in their names.
- If you do not see any of the above items, please contact edu-tech@uci.edu to schedule a time to verify that your device is compliant with the new ZotDefend requirements.
Confirm your Windows device is enrolled in ZotDefend:
- Click Start on your Windows device.
- Click on Settings.
- Click Accounts.
- Click Access work or school.
- You should see a banner that says "ad.uci.edu"
- If you click "ad.uci.edu" to expand that panel, you should see an "Info" button
- If you do not see any of the above items, please contact edu-tech@uci.edu to schedule a time to verify that your device is compliant with the new ZotDefend requirements.
