To Copy:
- Insert document onto top tray
- Ensure document is inserted properly. Printer should auto-adjust and light should turn green.
- Ensure document is inserted properly. Printer should auto-adjust and light should turn green.
- On touchscreen, select Copy
- Ascertain printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
- Press Start and collect copies from the left tray.
To Print:
For Windows:
Word
- Select the document to be printed.
- On the upper-left corner, select File, then Print.
- Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
- Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
- Select the Print icon
Adobe Acrobat
- Select the document to be printed.
- On the upper-right corner, select the Printer icon.
- Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
- Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
- Settings may be found under Properties.
- Select Print
PDF (Browser)
- Open document for printing.
- On the upper-right corner, select the print icon.
- Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
- Ascertain Destination (selected Canon printer) and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
- Settings may be found under More Settings dropdown menu.
- Additional settings may be found under Print Using System Dialog.
- Select Print
For Mac:

To Staple:
Canon printers have a built-in stapler function next to the tray for printed papers on the left side.
- Gather document to be stapled.
- Orient document to staple the top right side
- In the diagonal slit under paper tray B, slide the document properly. Upper staple light should turn green.
- Press green button to staple and retrieve document when light is off.
