To Copy:

  1. Insert document onto top tray
    1. Ensure document is inserted properly. Printer should auto-adjust and light should turn green.
  2. On touchscreen, select Copy
  3. Ascertain printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
  4. Press Start and collect copies from the left tray.


To Print:


For Windows:

Word

  1. Select the document to be printed.
  2. On the upper-left corner, select File, then Print
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
  4. Select the Print icon


Adobe Acrobat

  1. Select the document to be printed.
  2. On the upper-right corner, select the Printer icon. 
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
    1. Settings may be found under Properties
  4. Select Print


PDF (Browser)

  1. Open document for printing.
  2. On the upper-right corner, select the print icon.
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys Ctrl + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain Destination (selected Canon printer) and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
    1. Settings may be found under More Settings dropdown menu.
    2. Additional settings may be found under Print Using System Dialog.
  4. Select Print


For Mac:

Word

  1. Select the document to be printed.
  2. On the upper-left corner, select File, then Print
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys ⌘ + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
  4. Select the Print icon


Adobe Acrobat

  1. Select the document to be printed.
  2. On the upper-right corner, select the Printer icon.
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys ⌘ + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain selected Canon Printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
    1. Settings may be found in the Page Setup or Printer submenus. If an alert opens that the Page Setup dialog box is provided by the operating system, select Yes.
  4. Click Print


PDF (Browser)

  1. Open document for printing.
  2. On the upper-right corner, select the print icon.
    1. Alternatively, press keyboard keys + P for the print menu.
  3. Ascertain selected Canon printer and printer properties (copies, sides, density, color, etc.) are correct. Adjust as necessary.
  4. Select Print


To Staple:

Canon printers have a built-in stapler function next to the tray for printed papers on the left side.

  1. Gather document to be stapled.
  2. Orient document to staple the top right side
  3. In the diagonal slit under paper tray B, slide the document properly. Upper staple light should turn green.
  4. Press green button to staple and retrieve document when light is off.
