To print using the Bypass tray, ensure that the paper sizing settings on the Ricoh machine matches the specifications of the actual paper type that is loaded into the bypass tray:

- Press [User Guide/System Settings] -> [Tray Paper Settings] (may differ depending on which model of Ricoh it is) and make sure that [Paper Type] and [Paper Thickness] match the specifications of the loaded paper.

- Also, make sure that the settings in the printer driver on your computer is set accordingly. For example, if you are printing through Word, click on [Printer Properties] and change certain settings accordingly, such as Document Size, Paper Type, Input Tray, etc..
